Nancy, a high-performing executive, is overwhelmed by work and family stress. She's in the "sandwich" stage, with aging parents and college-age kids needing her help. Her firm is freezing her out, and a big client is threatening to leave. Nancy drinks more to relax, leading to panic attacks. She can't work and struggles to get out of bed. The doctor advises cutting back on drinking, losing weight, and going to therapy, but Nancy feels that talk therapy has failed her before. She can't show her emotions, as the fear of panic wracks her body.

Max’s work in the Fire Service is more than a career. It is a family legacy. As a Firefighter and EMT, he shows up for his community with the same dedication his father modeled before him. But one devastating call nearly cost him his life, and in its aftermath Max began to question his own strength and worth. While his physical injuries eventually healed, his nights filled with nightmares, and getting out of bed, let alone leaving the house, became a daily battle. The person who spent his life helping others is now the one who needs support.

Sean's motto, "It can always get worse," became a harsh reality when his mother died, followed by his father's death. Now, as the executor of the family estate, he's overwhelmed by grief, unable to eat, sleep, concentrate, or sit still. As mom's favorite, his relationship with his siblings is tense and strained. Sean needs support to navigate his grief and childhood memories, separating past hurts from present responsibilities. He wants to hold the family together but struggles to hold himself together.

In just six sessions, Justin, Frank, Malcolm, and Michael transformed from strangers to something more than friends. Meeting every other week for 90 minutes, they explored male archetypes and their shadow expressions. Now, they must decide whether to continue their journey together or part ways. Regardless of the decision, the journey has uniquely changed each man.

Daniel Moore

Hi, I'm Daniel Moore, LCPC

I’m a certified EMDR therapist specializing in trauma, grief, and the complex emotional landscapes that shape us. My work blends science, compassion, and experiential healing to help clients ease present distress, untangle past present patterns, and move toward a felt sense of wholeness.

I also tend grief through individual work, small groups, and retreat spaces that honor loss as a natural consequence of love. Much of my practice is devoted to underserved populations, including men and first responders, people carrying heavy stories with few places to set them down.

What I Offer

Creating space to navigate loss, release what no longer serves you, and step into a steadier, more connected way of living.

Heal old wounds, calm current symptoms, and move toward lasting change.

Support that helps you move through grief with compassion and grounded presence.

Therapeutic support that helps men carry less, connect more, and feel more like themselves.

What Clients Say

Daniel was wonderful to work with. He is kind, understanding and compassionate. I was going through my first real experiences with anxiety. He calmed me as I experienced it and gave me the tools to move forward. I’m very grateful for my time with Daniel and couldn’t recommend him higher.
